Lantern Parade- 2026

The lantern parade takes place each year in Port Kembla. Our Community Project works with the Port Kembla Primary School to make this parade a magic event for the kids each year.

This year the parade will take place on the 20th August with Lantern Making Workshops to be held.

The parade will commence at Coomaditchie Lagoon at 4:45 and make its way to the Port Kembla Primary School. There will be a BBQ, pizza and lots of hot chocolate on arrival at the school.

Everyone is free to come along and be part of the magic on the night.
