Patricia Powell Hughes

Patricia Powell-Hughes is the Founder and Managing Director of EP Australia and a Non-Executive Director with more than 27 years’ experience across Australia’s screen, broadcast, arts, cultural, creative and sport sectors. She specialises in executive search, leadership advisory and organisational strategy, partnering with boards, government agencies and executive teams on senior appointments, succession and organisational growth.

Patricia has worked with leading Australian and international media, entertainment, cultural and sporting organisations, bringing deep sector knowledge, commercial acumen and strong stakeholder leadership. Her governance experience spans the arts, community and industry sectors, including current board roles with Our Community Project and Screen Illawarra. She previously served as Vice Chair of MediaRING, helping lead industry-wide initiatives to improve Indigenous employment outcomes across Australia’s media sector, alongside board roles with Sprung!! Integrated Dance Theatre and the Women in Music Awards, reflecting her commitment to leadership, inclusion and sector development.
