Pavla Stupkova

Pavla has over 13 years of experience working across mainstream and culturally-focused community services, leadership, and case management, with a strong focus on supporting culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities and Aboriginal children and families.

‘My background  in being a board member includes eight years with Multicultural NSW as an Advisory Board Member, where I supported community engagement and settlement initiatives in South-East Coast geographical area, five years as a board member with the Illawarra Women’s Health Centre and three and a half years with the Berkeley Community Centre, focusing on local service delivery for young people and community development.

Currently, I am the Practice Leader – Case Work at Multicultural Communities Council Illawarra (MCCI), where I lead a team of caseworkers, oversee quality practice, and build partnerships with local organisations.

Previously, I worked with the Illawarra Aboriginal Corporation (Myimbarr) in the Permanency Support Program, providing case management, triage support, and compliance oversight.

I am passionate about promoting inclusion, empowerment, and access to support for all communities.

Joining the Board would allow me to contribute my leadership experience, community insight, and learn from other board members

I am particularly interested in helping strengthen governance, advocacy, and collaboration to further the organisation’s mission and impact in my local area.’
