We hope it will give you a broad view of the types of projects we can achieve when community comes together.
Our Community Project's (OCP) main office is at the Port Kembla Community Centre, but our projects serve the greater Illawarra and beyond!
For local Port Kembla projects, we have created a group called Port Locals. Within Port Locals, you will find projects to join. We have gardening, baking groups, sewing groups, the Men’s Group, and more.
Our Community Development program runs various fun events over the year, find out more on our website.
The Community Centre Hall has also just been freshly renovated, to make a booking visit the website.

OCP operates Tender Funerals, our not-for-profit social enterprise. Tender Funerals offering personalised, meaningful, and affordable funerals.
What about celebrating Cultural diversity? Feast on Culture, Music & Bread! Each month musicians from different cultural traditions will be invited to share a song or tune for all to jam along with. It will be a feast of the senses as we'll be baking fresh bread while we jam.
What else does OCP do to support art and culture in the Illawarra? So much more through our Culture Bank Program! The money you contribute will support cultural projects that belong to Wollongong – art, poetry, music, film, circus, books, theatre, creative workshops among many other creative expressions. The more people who join Culture Bank, the more funds available to spend on creating and enhancing the cultural life of our community.
